Throughout the year, ASLA Florida members gather to learn, network, and interact with fellow colleges and professionals in the field of landscape architecture.
Annual Golf Tournament Our Annual Golf Tournament is typically included in the Annual Conference and supports our Scholarship Program which funds two students attending a Florida-based accredited landscape architectural program. The funds raised provide two annual $5,000 scholarships awarded to first through third year students. | Design Awards Each year we gather to celebrate and recognize achievements of students and professionals in the field of landscape architecture. Towards the beginning of the year, Students and Professionals have an opportunity to submit their projects to be reviewed by our jury members from across the state of Florida and the projects that are selected receive an award at our Design Awards Ceremony. |
World Landscape Architecture Month April is World Landscape Architecture Month (WLAM). Established by the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), WLAM is a month-long international celebration of landscape architecture and designed public and private spaces. People and communities around the world have deep, long-standing personal connections to the spaces landscape architects create – they’re just not aware of it. During WLAM, ASLA and landscape architects around the world aim to demonstrate that connection by highlighting landscape architect-designed spaces. | Section Events The Sections of the ASLA Florida Chapter host several events throughout the year. Our chapter is divided into the following sections: Broward, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Palm Beach / Treasure Coast, Tampa Bay, Tallahassee, and Daytona. |
