Annual Events

Throughout the year, ASLA Florida members gather to learn, network, and interact with fellow colleges and professionals in the field of landscape architecture.

Annual Conference + Expo

Our Annual Conference + Expo is the biggest event of the year. It features multiple days of educational sessions and tours offering continuing education credits and an exhibit hall full of vendors who share the newest trends and products on the market.

Annual Golf Tournament

Our Annual Golf Tournament is typically included in the Annual Conference and supports our Scholarship Program which funds two students attending a Florida-based accredited landscape architectural program. The funds raised provide two annual $5,000 scholarships awarded to first through third year students.

Design Awards

Each year we gather to celebrate and recognize achievements of students and professionals in the field of landscape architecture at our Design Awards Gala! Registration is now open for the 2021 Virtual Design Awards Gala which will be held on October 14th!

World Landscape Architecture Month

April is World Landscape Architecture Month (WLAM). Established by the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), WLAM is a month-long international celebration of landscape architecture and designed public and private spaces. People and communities around the world have deep, long-standing personal connections to the spaces landscape architects create – they’re just not aware of it. During WLAM, ASLA and landscape architects around the world aim to demonstrate that connection by highlighting landscape architect-designed spaces.

PARK[ing] Day

PARK(ing) Day, an annual event that encourages landscape architects, community members, and students to transform metered parking spaces into temporary parklets. PARK[ing] day will take place on September 17, 2021.
